MEET THE STAFF
We're all a friendly bunch at Coast to Coast Exotics!
Well known in the herpetological world with past positions such as Journal Editor and President (Elect) of the International Herpetological Society and committee member of the Federation of British Herpetologists. Also known for numerous published articles in worldwide journals, magazines and the like, not forgetting countless TV programmes and films. Consulatant Herpetologist to a well known reptile product brand. Has been involved in the hobby for over thirty years. Currently Vice Chairman of the Northern Branch of the International Herpetological Society. Other non-reptile interests include a streetfighter motorbike (modified V-max for all you bikers out there!), American performance V8 muscle cars and trucks (in particular Corvettes - a latest C6 and also a Stingray are amongst his collection of american muscle), making models and the various aspects of the gothic scene (music, films and lifestyle). Travelling is a major aspect of Kevins life, and he has set foot in many exotic locations around the world. Photography sits in well with all his hobbies, and is a recently rekindled passion. A further rekindled passion is his settling with Jo, an old flame from the distant past. And its rumoured, that he may even be considering taking the plunge (to gasps of shock from all that know him!). Watch this space. as they say.
Has been keeping herptiles for over eight years and has gained much experience in this time. Has a natural affinity with animals and their needs. Be warned she does not suffer fools, if she views you as a person that does not look after their animals correctly you will soon know about it! Keep your animals well and shes a little pussy cat .. Main interests still revolve around her love of animals various reptiles, small mammals and her two dogs - a Basset Hound and Staffie. Collects unusual collectables such as Deb Canham Dappled Dragons and Brian Froud stuff, and also various old and new teddies. Large portion of her interests revolves around the restoration of her Mini - and the rest of her spare time is used up around her love of motorbikes. Although at the moment its only on the back of her boyfriends bike, she is planning to take her test to be a fully fledged biker chick.
Stuart has become a well known herpetologist in his own right. He started keeping reptiles about 15 years ago. He has completed an Animal Care Course at Bishop Burton. He became more well known after joining the Exotic Animal Welfare Trust and was second place in the BBC Animal Awards for "Outstanding Acheivement for Animal Welfare and Conservation". He has a particular interest in tortoises, large lizard and snake species - and admits that he can become very boring if asked to talk about Green Iguana and turtle care (you've been warned!!)
Personal interests (apart from herpetological interests) include keeping the missus happy (takes up a lot of time), propagation of little Stuarts, and walking and taking in the countryside.
