New Britnett-Carver features for 2006:

Automatic Image Sizing - reducing wide images down to a specified maximum width.

A great time saving feature with added bonus of keeping your site uniform.

You tell Britnett-Carver what you want the default widths of images.

1) Set Your Default:  Click  Website > Web Pages menu: Click Image Width Defaults.  SEE TWO SCREEN SHOTS ON THE RIGHT>>>

2) How to Select the Image Size as you are Adding or Editing Products: Add or edit a product>> Under image section select the maximum width for the images from the drop down menu.

Existing image or new uploaded image:
Max width (pixels):
  Default: 100 px

This includes Do Not Resize, Default and Standard Sizes. You can pick from the drop down.  Just pick the width you require.  NOTE: Once reduced the image cannot be enlarged.

3) New Image Properties On Create/Edit Web Page

See the Screen Shot here that explains the features below.

Setting an Image Alignment to Center

Actually does put the image on its own line (no text to its left or right), centered in the page body.

Ability to link images and specify same or new browser window for the link.

Fine tune control over the image margin, i.e. the "white space" around the four sides of the image.

Ability to have a frame of any color appear around the image (frame encloses the caption too if image has a caption), with spacing between the image edge the frame to give a matted look.

Image tag (in HTML code) now includes the image's height and width values, so that space is allocated in the page for the image as the page loads (thus, no more moving text as images load in after the text).

See the Screen Shot here that explains the features above.
