Added to the Website > Master Template Edit > Layout screen, these controls give you the ability to specify the page width, page alignment, and the width of the left and right sidebar nav panels.

Previously, your pages had a width that spanned the entire width of the browser window (less any left/right margins as set in the Styles controls). While that is still an option, you can now set a fixed width for your pages to achieve a consistent look no matter how wide the browser window is, and no matter what the user's screen resolution is.

It is up to you and your client how you want the site to appear - each of us will have our own oppinion as to the best option.

With the fixed width, you can enter your own desired width, in pixels.  And, you can have the page aligned left in the browser window, or opt for the more popular look of centering the page within the window.  Right not an option.

Finally, you now have control over the width of the left and right sidebar navigation panels. Enter a fixed width number, in pixels, for each. Each is set independently; each sidebar can have its own width - they do not have to be the same.

Previously, these widths were the same and had a value of 20% of the width of the browser window.  Now, with a fixed width, as opposed to a percentage, you get a more consistent look to your page layout across different browser window widths and screen resolutions.

Here are the new controls:

Note that for Page Width Type you can choose Flexible to allow the page to span the browser window (which before this update was all you had), or Fixed, to give the page a static, fixed width.
