2008 Wycombe Music Festival

Chameleon have proven to be a popular choice for promoters and organisers of large scale public, municipal concerts.

Since 2000, they have featured prominently in Classic Fantastic's 'Proms in the Park' series of events and have learnt a completely new repertoire in keeping with the chosen event theme each year.

Some of these varied themes have included:-

'Sun, Moon, Stars & Sky' (2001), which saw us performing songs including:-

Life on Mars - David Bowie
Moondance - Van Morrison
Rocket Man - Elton John
Stars - Simply Red
Walking on the Moon - Police
Whole of the Moon - Waterboys
Wishing on a Star - Rose Royce

In 2002 we performed popular 'Movie Themes' and prominent songs featured in box office hit movies in keeping with the chosen 'Full Monty' theme, such as:-

Everything I do, I do it for you - Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
Have you met Miss Jones - Bridget Jones Diary
I will always love you - The Bodyguard
Leave your hat on / You sexy thing / Hot stuff - Full Monty
My Girl - When Harry met Sally

Chameleon were invited to play for a third successive season in 2003.

. . . and the theme? The Wild West/Country & Western!

Further event themes have included the 'Spitfire' proms (2004) and the 'Trafalgar' Proms (2005).

Chameleon have also been the choice of several local authorities to assist in entertaining the festive crowds gathered to watch the ceremonial switching on of Christmas lights and at many other Civic showcase events.

Chameleon are the ideal choice for anyone requiring a 'Show Band' who are able to theme their repertoire, stagewear and performance style to accommodate any chosen event theme.

Chameleon are able to entertain all age groups and versatile enough to blend in with any performance style whether casual, formal or highly themed.

Several members from Chameleon were featured on the No.1 Comic Relief single of 2005, "Is this the way to Amarillo" with Peter Kaye & Tony Christie. As well as performing with Tony on his sell-out UK tour, we appeared on a host of TV appearances on programs such as:- Top of the Pops, GMTV, CDUK, Strictly Come Dancing, Emmerdale, Today with Des & Mel, Swing Mania and Queen Mania. As a bonus, we appeared on the very last broadcast of Top of the Pops!

There have also been a string of festival appearances including:- V Fest, Gill Fest, Party in the Park, Gay Fest, Reading and T4 on the beach.
