We could not achieve so much without our team of volunteers. We currently have a wide range of volunteering opportunities.

Padley Head Office and Development Centre - Tel: 01332 774480 - Amanda Page (Chief Executive) At the moment the Development Centre particularly needs someone who is a whizz at ironing to iron things like chefs' whites. Contact on the above number - Julie Stevenson (Administrator)

Marketing - We are reviewing all of our methods of communication at the present time and also have a very ambitious fundraising programme. We would appreciate help from anyone able to offer time, help or advice on a one-off or ongoing basis with overall strategy, copy writing, design and layout of publications, direct marketing and/or PR.

Fundraising  - We have an ambitious number of events planned and more ideas in the pipeline. Individuals or teams are welcome to help out with one or all events (either planning and organising or helping out at the event itself) or even to take over the organisation of a particular event.

Homeless Project - Tel 01332 331280

Day Centre -  The Day Centre always welcomes new volunteers - in fact it couldn't run without them. People with a caring and non-judgmental approach are welcomed for a few hours each week to help out with jobs such as serving food, washing up or simply being company for the homeless people who visit the centre. Training given.

Access Hostel - The Access Hostel also has a high need for hands-on volunteers. People are needed to assist the staff during two hour shifts (5pm - 7pm or 7pm - 9pm, Monday to Friday). Good communications skills are necessary but full training is given.

Trading Project Padley Recycling Centre - Tel: 01332 366780 - John Howells (Warehouse Manager)

There are opportunities at the Recycling Centre for:

• Warehouse Operatives (must be over 18) Hours to suit with training and qualifications available to certain groups.
• Volunteer Drivers (must be over 25) - to drive a long wheel based high loader van in the local area. Must have a clean driving licence and be in good health.

Volunteers are always needed in the Charity Shop. In particular at the moment we are hoping to increase the number of volunteers that we have on Saturdays. Hours are to suit with training and qualifications available to certain groups
