Why did you choose to do this type of show:  
I used to present the “Soul Show” and “Showstoppers” until other much better presenters came along to do the shows, so I was very happy to “sack myself” from both programmes.

My role as Station Manager regularly involves me in facilitating the various interviews and inclusions in programming that are mentioned in the programming, so each week I contribute to the programme in various forms.  Helping community groups spread the word about their events is a fundamental part of the remit of Radio Teesdale so I’m delighted that we can facilitate this.

What is your favourite song of all time?:   
The Detroit Emeralds “Feel the Need in Me” (but it changes every day!)

If you could pick anyone, dead or alive, to have a drink with, who would it be and why?:   
Groucho Marx.  The greatest comedian of all time.

I used to be the European Editor of a Marx Brothers’ Magazine

Would you like to add anything else to your Profile interview? I strongly believe that Radio Teesdale is the most exciting community initiative to happen in the area for many many years.  It may sound like a cliché, but it is heartfelt – it will be what the people of Radio Teesdale make it…..it truly is YOURS.
