Name: Rantin Richie (a.k.a Peter Richardson)

I am Rantin Richie ex DJ for World famous South London band ALABAMA 3 (they who did the theme tune for HBO ‘s award winning Channel 4 series “The Soprano’s”, with their song “Woke Up This Morning” ) The band are signed to One Little Indian Records along with Bjork. Check out their website www.alabama3.co.uk

DoB: 30/11/62

Show name: The Sunday Supplement.

When is it on? Sunday 11am-1pm

Why did you choose to do this type of show? People had cornered the market on Indie shows, which is what I wanted to do, and basically the timing was good for me. Its not too hectic on a Sunday, and it’s great fun doing it with my co-presenter Andy Leitch.

What is your favourite song of all time? The Warmest Room by Billy Bragg.

If you could pick anyone, dead or alive, to have a drink with, who would it be and why? Joe Stummer. The guy was a lyrical genius and original thinker, and I’d like to have a conversation with hime about the world situation as it is, as it was, and how it could be.

Describe yourself in one word: Different.

Tell us something about you that we don’t know: I love art, and should get round to painting again.

Would you like to add anything else to your Profile interview? I really enjoy playing music on Radio Teesdale and thank everyone in the community for their support as always, thank you.
