Celebrity Netball Sevens

A host of celebrities made their way to Essex on Sunday March 21st in a bid to show who has got the skills on the netball court.

Stars from X Factor, the soaps, music, TV, entertainment and more took part in the celebrity netball event, these included Miss Frank, Bad Lashes, Gemma Bissix, Porchia, Phacebook, Kierston Waring and Platform 7.

The event was a great success with all four teams fighting to win the competition and Platform 7 coming out champions after a closely fought final against the Actresses.

The day also featured celebrity boy's netball, shoot out competitions, cheerleaders and the Streetball UK basketball demo team.

Previous champions of the Netball 7's, now in it's tenth event, include Katie Price, Danielle Lloyd, Penny Lancaster, Atomic Kitten, Kate Thornton and Bianca Gascoigne and Michelle Heaton.

This was the first of what is hoped many events at the Brentwood Leisure Centre for the Celebrity Netball 7's and more events are already being planned for the future which will be announced on the website once confirmed.
