It is possible to bring a claim for compensation in the UK for injuries and loss that you may have suffered whilst on holiday abroad, if you have booked your holiday through a Tour Operator and you have booked for example both the flights and hotel through the Tour Operator.

Regulations are in force which allow victims of accidents whilst on holiday to bring a claim against the Tour Operator in certain circumstances and a claim can be brought in this country rather than in the country where your accident occurred.

If your claim is not covered by the “Package Tour Regulations” consideration will then have to be given to bringing a claim within the country where your accident occurred.
