In a typical training course we take delegates through the principles of plain language. We'd cover:

• what's a good average sentence length
• how to use lists to best effect
• the impact of active, passive and hidden verbs on writing
• how to deal with technical and professional jargon
• how to deal with business jargon
• the power of using everyday words.

We'd then work with the delegates to apply these techniques to their line of work.
